Poggio Pelliccia only produces high quality Extra Virgin Oil. The Extra Virgin Oil produce is a single estate, cold pressed. The oil is made of a blend of the traditional Tuscan olive varieties of Frantoiano, Coreggiolo, Leccino, Pendolino and Moraiolo. The trees lie on the South East facing slope of the hill in a clay/limestone soil and so benefit from long hours of sunshine and are sheltered from the prevailing winds. Our oil is fully bodied having a fruity character with spice and peppery notes and an exceptionally long finish. It naturally has a beautiful green to golden colour. Our EV Olive Oil is made uniquely from olives produced in our estate in Tuscany.The great care taken in the production of this Extra Virgin Olive Oil in excess of the already strict P.G.I. standards leads to an exceptional oil. All your dishes will benefit from the use of our Extra Virgin Olive Oil, however it is best enjoyed on salads, pastas or bruschetta. Download our full brochure here.
